Liquid planet visions
The artworks are a breathtaking portrayal of our planet Earth, as seen from the perspective of a satellite. They are a limited edition of unique prints made with generative art , single edition printed on canvas capturing London and the river Thames transformed into abstracted liquified visions .
The images are swirling masses of vibrant colours that blend seamlessly into one another as if they are being mixed together on a canvas by an expert painter.
As you gaze upon these artworks, it's almost as if you can feel and see the patterns of water movement and the way forces and power are pulling and pushing earth tectonics.
This is a stunning and thought-provoking portrayal of our planet Earth and the impact that climate change is having on it. It reminds us of the delicate balance of nature, its fragility and beauty.
This series of artworks is part of the “Liquid Planet “ event, part of the Thames Festival Trust 2023 in London. The pieces are extracted moments of an interactive media installation of satellite views of Earth transformed into liquified abstract visions, forming a liquid abstracted landscape generated by human and sound interaction. It is a multisensory experience with liquid soundscapes by artist Daniela Magni and a DJ set by Kwerk.
The artworks are unique prints on cotton canvas stretch fabric generated during the performance with a sound, interactive algorithm that never recreates the same image.
